Additional Names To "Trade Days" Ad

"Culpeper Trade Days, appearing on page 3 of this issue, is a program sponsored by the Culpeper Retail Merchants Association. The trade purchase and sales on page 9 and to that list should be added the names: A. B. N. Dure and Carpenter Dore."

With 14 members present, the Castleton Home Demonstration club organized October 20 at a meeting in the home of Miss Emily Murrell. Mrs. Frank Coughlan was chosen to lead the group as president. Miss Emily Murrell will be vice-president and Mrs. Clarence Scott will serve as secretary and treasurer. After the election, Mrs. Coughlan took over her duties as president and appointee of the county club leaders; Mrs. Munte-Lester and Mrs. J. P. Daffinger as whole leader and Mrs. John Woodard and Mrs. Clarence Scott as head registrar, and to leaders.

The Chester Gap Home Demonstration club is nearly organized club which has met only twice, decided to organize at the meeting on October 27. They chose as their president Miss Ivy Williams, Mrs. Mary Lee Winns as vice-president and Mrs. Marie Williams, secretary and treasurer. Up to date this means that there are eight organized home demonstration clubs in the county. The agent would regularly with twelve clubs each month and hopes to organize the other four clubs just as soon as possible.

A new Wadeville Hill club is to be started November 11. This newnhub will be attended meeting at the home of Mrs. Charlie Jenkins. The demonstration will be on the subject of bottoming chairs and shirts, split latches and spring bottoms, and will be following women show clubs and will be invited to attend the meeting: Mrs. Miller, James Mrs. Mary Voss, Mrs. M. Leake, Mrs. Elsie Hughes, Mrs. Eugene Atkins, Mrs. Bernard Dodson, Mrs. Ralph Martin, Mrs. James Butterfield, Mrs. Willie Smith, Mrs. Henry Mac Lathim, Mrs. Carrol Fry, Mrs. Charlie Jenkins. Anyone interested will be welcomed.

Through free will offering the home demonstration clubs of the county gave the run of 405 for the benefit of 12,000.
